Maille has been used to protect the human body for thousands of years. The close weave of steel rings pretects the flesh from sharp edged weapons yet flows with the form underneath giving an optimal combination of protection and mobility.  Pictured below are a few examples, but in reality the only real limitation is your imagination!  The materials can be nearly anything, steel, brass, copper, niobium, siler, gold, aluminum, etc…  As every piece of maille is individually hand crafted, please contact us for pricing!

In the picture above, Breinus is wearing an open fronted steel coif, with contrasting copper rings in a spiral pattern.

Here is a detail of the same coif, showing the spiral contrast work.

In this image, Breinus is wearing a traditional coif with brass edging.  The rings are 3/8ths” inside diameter, 14 gauge galvanized steel.
