Your Proprietor, His Lordship, Breinus The Silent

His Lordship Breinus the Silent has been crafting maille for well over a decade.  He is accomplished with hundreds of styles and weaves and has catered to the reenactor community and maille enthusiasts as well.  He is very active in the medieval reenactment community, where he is recognized as a premier provider of maille, a fine craftsman and an all around good (albeit quiet) guy.  Each piece is intricately hand-woven and takes many hours of intensive labor and an unending supply of patience and precision.  Each ring is crafted by hand and hand-fitted into the mesh.  The number of these rings in each piece is staggering!  There may be as many as 1000 in a simple necklace and hundreds of thousands in a larger piece like a hauberk (maille shirt) or chauses (maille leg protection.
